London is an amazing place to live if you’re a beer lover – it seems that there’s a new brewery popping up every week. I had thought I was pretty up to speed on our London breweries, but as last week’s London Brewers Alliance Showcase down at Vinopolis showed me, there are now so many new guys appearing that I hadn’t even heard of some of them.

I can’t be the only one who struggles to keep track, and even the London Brewers Alliance don’t manage to keep a track of them all. So, I’ve decided to maintain a handy page of all London Brewers so that I know which breweries I should hunt down next for a tour!

There are a couple of limits on which breweries I list – firstly, they have to be within the M25. It’s an arbitrary line of Londonness (Londonicity?), but you have to draw the line somewhere. Secondly, I’ve left out brewpubs where you can only drink their beer in their own pub. Yes, they are technically breweries but it feels too much like listing restaurants who make their own bread under ‘bakeries’.

I will update the page whenever I come across new breweries or if there are changes to be made (such as when Redemption makes me a very happy drinker by starting to bottle!) – there’s a date at the top of the table which shows when it was last updated.
